Amy Beeler, who currently serves as treasurer on the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce board of directors, has been named the new superintendent of the Pioneer School.

Beeler will follow Leia Snyder, who left the Pioneer helm in November to take a job in Hamilton County.

Beeler is a lifelong resident of Ross County and will join Pioneer from the Southern Ohio Council of Governments, which oversees 15 county boards of developmental disabilities in Ohio. She has 19 years in the DD field.
