Labor Day a chance to thank workers for all they do

Labor Day is a holiday that marks the end of the summer season, as well as a return to the routine of school and, in many regards, a more hectic work week. But it’s really more than that. It’s a time to celebrate workers in Ross County and across our great nation as well as their contributions to a prosperous community, state, and nation.

At the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to “promote economic and community development” through helping businesses succeed. We believe that workers succeed when business succeeds and that standing up for free enterprise strengthens the community by preserving and strengthening the people who start businesses – and their workers.

As a member of both the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Chamber, we work with those organizations to grow private industry and empower businesses to help employees understand the American dream of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

We want to take this opportunity to celebrate and thank all Ross County workers for their efforts to help strengthen their businesses and help those around us create a great business climate.
