The Chillicothe Jaycees on Tuesday announced the Halloween Parade, a longstanding tradition in Chillicothe, will not happen in 2020.

“After much discussion, planning, and thoughts the Chillicothe Jaycees have decided the Halloween Parade for this year will be canceled due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic,” the group said in an email sent by Ryan Adams, past president. “While this has been a long standing tradition for not only the Jaycees and the Evening Lions, but also for the communities that both organizations continue to serve.  We look forward to continuing the tradition next year.”
