CHILLICOTHE, OH (Feb. 15, 2016)     After 19 years, the Southern Ohio Home and Garden Show will be presented by a different organization. The Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce has agreed to be the lead organizer of the yearly event held at the Ross County Fairgrounds each spring. Previously, the show was presented by the Ross County Home Builders Association.

A new Home and Garden Show committee has been established within the Chamber to help prepare plans for the event that will return to the fairgrounds in the spring of 2017.

“We are really looking forward to bringing some new and exciting pieces to the Home and Garden show,” said Emily Gerber-Poe, chamber board member and chair of the Home and Garden Show committee.

There will be no show this year as the new organizers take over the event, work on the venue, programs, and vendors and prepare for a relaunch of the Southern Ohio Home and Garden Show in the spring of 2017.

“It will be another great event for our community and we are already hard at work on the 2017 show, it is certainly something the residents of southern Ohio should be looking forward to,” Gerber-Poe said.
